Through the CIT-funded Business Technology Center at Virginia Tech, (in 1999) Prime Photonics received incorporation assistance and help with business planning, market research, establishment of an accounting system, government contracting procedures, licensing, structuring of financing, and other operational elements. CIT also assisted the company in applying for federal research grants and provided matching funding for two SBIR grants won by the company. |
