Prime UWB radar is being designed to support future space missions, and will serve as the foundation of Prime self-locating wireless sensor networks. UWB RadarLocation awareness is a key capability required to realize full space-time adaptive processing in future wireless sensor networks. Prime and its university collaborators are currently developing a low-power CMOS UWB-based radar system that can be used for mobile ranging applications. This exciting new radar technology being developed for NASA will serve as the basis for future Prime wireless sensor network self-location capabilities. |
